Welcome to Slime Game!
For you downloading off Itch.io you might've stumbled upon this and thought it was cute.
This game has been in development since spring of 2018 but I put it on the back burner and forgot about it.
I have been working more and more on it lately and thought I'd share it with others to see how other people view the game.
There isn't really much of a "game" right now as there's no danger to the game but I am figuring the ins and outs of that behind the scenes.
This is the first itch.io release but I've been making small releases of the game on my discord server but decided to put bigger releases here on itch.io.
This release is called "Into the night" as it adds a few night based items to the game.
Those items are the barren tree, brown mushroom, lightning bugs, and the new skull slime.
The barren tree and brown mushroom only grow in the night, here is a little overview of them.
Barren Tree- Grows fairly quickly in the night. Drops sticks when decayed.
Brown Mushroom-Takes a very long time to grow in the night. Drops a brown mushroom that sells for a good price.
Lightning bug- there's a random chance to spawn a few lightning bugs when it becomes night time(max of 5) you can pick them up and sell them for a small price, and when it turns day time any active lightning bug will drop to the floor.
Skull Slime- The skull slime produces a barren tree seed and a mushroom seeds every few minutes. He is helpful to boost coin intake during the night time hours.
I also spent some time re-working the shop, it now is separated into tabs and has a more compact design, I still am working on what would work best.
I have really balanced and changed a lot of things around, like rarities of items and times it takes for crops to grow.
This is sort of a small release but I am planning 3 more releases with a few new crops and slimes very soon.
