Leaflup's Candy Hunt is a small wacky collectathon platformer inspired by Banjo Kazooie and Mario Odyssey!



Story
The Candenia Forest is home to many mysteries. On the Night of Spooks a small green slime meets a magic candy basket that asks for help finding candy to help save two lost villagers. In return, the candy basket gives him magical abilities to help on his journey! You'll need to find a lot of candy if you want to save Cort and Helper!

Buyer's Guide

Leaflup's Candy Hunt is a short 1-2 hour collectathon game with light metroidvania aspects. It features a beautiful pixel art world and follows the story of an unconventional friend group helping each other. The story is incredibly silly, unexpected, and nonsensical while also being heartfelt and having very sincere moments. You explore a main area but also can enter 3 "towers" each with their own distinct gameplay, visuals, and mechanics. The main goal of the game is to collect candy which there's over 380 pieces of. The gameplay is smooth and doesn't hold the player back with any challenging platforming, or spikes in difficulty. The game also features many secrets to find. From silly hats to secret codes there's something around every corner of the Candenia Forest. If you want to experience a heartfelt, funny, and at times utterly nonsensical with a beautiful soundtrack, satisfying pixel art, and an adorable slime this game may be for you!
